About Curtis
Curtis Gillman has built a 20+ year career as a dynamic leader in the retail home improvement industry. Guided by the principles of servant leadership, accountability, and performance measurement, he was instrumental in growing an eight-store regional chain into an 18-location industry leader, driving operational excellence and sustainable growth.
Driven my a passion for helping family-owned businesses preserve and strengthen their legacy, Curtis founded Legacy Retail Advisors to guide independent retailers through growth, transition, and succession. He works closely with both incoming and exiting generations to position them for stability, growth and long-term success.
With extensive experience in acquisitions, Curtis is uniquely positioned to help independent owners and operators enhance business value. His deep understanding of what buyers seek enables him to craft strategies that enhance market appeal and maximize valuation.
Curtis holds a bachelor’s degree in Property Management from Ball State University and an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University. He lives in southeastern Indiana with his wife, Andrea, and their three daughters—Lacey, Lilly, and Lainey.
